Process

I choose my subjects matter always very close to my environment. It forces
me to revive my perception of the mundane .I will take my easel to my dining
room and start to paint a bowl of fruit, bathed in light. I will then paint
on the canvas the words describing the emotion associated with that
particular setting.

I will end up painting many subjects, lot of flowers at the moment, but also
tables, set for a meal, or faces inscribed in rough collages.

I sometimes work for a special commission and it is a wonderful process for
me to be able to be inspired outside of my private world.
